Jeff Beck - "Shapes of Things"

This was originally a Beck-era Yardbirds song back in 1966. Beck re-imagined it for his 1968 album Truth, in more of the psychadelic rock flavor of the times. Who is that on lead vocals you might ask? Why it's none other than Rod Stewart, who lent his pipes the Jeff Beck group in 1968-9 for two albums. Ronnie Wood, who would later move on with a little group called the Rolling Stones also played with Beck during this time. Last month, Jeff Beck was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
