Final Score: Phillies 4 - Cubs 5

A wild one! The bullpens got a workout tonight, as Jamie Moyer only went five innings for the Phillies, and Rich Hill could only muster up 4.2 in an epic stare down at Wrigley. We had a rare sighting in that a pitcher and batter were both pulled mid-count without injury. Hill was yanked by Piniella in the fifth with Moyer at the plate and a 1-1 count. Then in the eighth, Mike Fontenot was pulled from the plate with a 1-1 count in favor of Ryan Theriot, who would end up drawing a walk. Then in the ninth, Thunder Matt hit a leadoff double. After two walks and two wild pitches by wife-beater (and supposed Harley driver) Brett Myers, Murton crossed the plate and catapulted the Cubs over the Brewers to take over first place in the NL Central! Hey Hey!
